When will Charlie Woods next play after Future Masters collapse? Program for 15-year-old golfers

Charlie Woods’ unfortunate fate strikes again! Recently, a 15-year-old boy participated in the Future Masters tournament in the 15-18 age category. Due to inclement weather, the number of holes was reduced to 36 and the winners were announced after two rounds. Woods Jr. shot two rounds of 73 and 76 to finish in 103rd place. Ben Shedd won the event, and Brantley Moore was the runner-up.

It might be a heartbreak for him, adding another setback after failing to pass the qualifiers for both the Cognizant Classic and the US Open. After this performance at the Future Masters, where is Woods Jr.’s next stop? Interestingly, he won’t be away from the green for long. Woods Jr. is scheduled to return to the U.S. Junior Tournament at Oakland Hills. He qualified for the USGA tournament at Eagle Trace Golf Club in June, finishing in the cut with a 1-under 71. Reflecting on his performance, the 15-year-old said, “I didn’t play great my first two holes, but I played really well for the last 16. I just told myself not to make any more bogeys or doubles and took advantage of some nice birdie looks when I had them.”

The US Junior Amateur will commence from July 22–28 at Oakland Hills in the suburbs of Detroit. Before Charlie Woods can join the 64-player match play, he must play 36 holes of stroke play on the Oakland Hills North and South courses to determine his spot in the field for the rest of the tournament. His father, Tiger Woods, was 14 when he first qualified for the U.S. junior tournament. Woods Jr. is 15, nearly the same age as his father. Woods Jr.’s ranking improved significantly upon qualifying for his USGA debut, as he rose to 38th in the class of 2027 according to the TUGR Junior Rankings, which represents the highest ranking of his junior career in any category. He may be excited to play in Oakland Hills, but will he then be able to rest the rest of the year? Probably not!

Where will Charlie Woods play after July? The US Junior Amateur will be held the last week of July, and once the tournament is over, Charlie Woods may compete in the PGA Junior Cup at Old Palm GC Course, as well as the South Florida Cup. In the tournament, it finished 10th in the 68-75-76 score. Following this, you may see him in SFPGA LABOR DAY Classic in the first week of September. Finally, Charlie Woods could end the year by competing in the SFPGA Tour Championship at The Park West Palm, where he had a career-best finish last year, finishing tied for fifth with a score of 69-73 and 142. There are currently no reports of any other tournaments Woods Jr. may be participating in.
