Tiger Woods has caused concern among golf fans after a video of him playing at a charity poker event in Las Vegas went viral on social media.
The 15-time major winner was filmed by American professional poker player Phil Hellmuth during the Tiger Jam charity poker event. One of the highlights of the event is Tiger’s Poker Night, which brings together some of the biggest names and familiar faces in the poker world. Hellmuth met with Woods at the event, which ran from May 31 to June 1, and spoke about the 48-year-old Woods’ TGR Foundation.

Woods said TGR’s greatest success, without a doubt, comes from the stories kids come back and tell after getting an education in that foundation.
All of a sudden, they’re successful in college,” he said. “Go to Stanford, Harvard, MIT, Yale and visit amazing places, do amazing things.”

However, the clip caused confusion among golf fans on social media, with some wondering if he had drunk too much or was not feeling well, but others were quick to rush to his defense, saying he seemed entirely coherent and in good spirits.
One golf fan wrote: “Can we be real here for a second? » Is there really no one in his camp close to him who can step in and offer real help? Anyone in his family? Any of them?

“No one wants to see him like that. It’s awful,” he added. Another user shared, “Tiger Woods easily got 3 perks and 7 shots of vodka in this video.”

“Tiger is very upset about Mars,” another wrote.

Some fans, on the other hand, were quick to leap to Woods’ defense.

‘I dont [sic] get what they are supposed to be stopping? He responded to a wonderful, original user problem.
The other writes as follows. “What’s the problem with him? It looks awesome.

“People are upset that he’s partying in Vegas? What?’ one user pointed out on X, while another asked: ‘What’s the problem?’

“It was really great. The man’s Tiger was the first time for me. But he looks like a cool man who goes out, “said another person about the legend of golf. “He’s just living life,” said another, while another commented: “Let him enjoy life. Don’t judge! His foundation is doing great things.”

DailyMail.com has reached out to Woods’ camp for comment. In 2017, Woods was arrested for drunk driving near his home in Jupiter Island, Florida, after he was found asleep in his car with the engine running and parked in his lane. He eventually pleaded guilty to reckless driving and was given a year of probation, a $250 fine, 50 hours of community service and regular drug testing. Woods is also prohibited from drinking alcohol while on probation and faces an additional 90 days in jail and a $500 fine if he violates the terms of his probation.

In 2009, Woods crashed his car outside his home in Windermere, Florida, while allegedly having an extramarital affair. The local police ultimately did not file charges after the incident.

Woods later acknowledged that he had used ambient. But if he played his role, he did not respond directly when he was asked at a press conference at that time. According to the New York Post, Woods has suffered from back problems for years and checked himself into rehab in 2010 for an addiction to Vicodin and Ambien.

After revealing he had multiple relationships with other women while married to ex-wife Elin Nordegren, Woods spent six weeks in a Mississippi rehabilitation center for sex addiction.

Most recently in 2021, he survived a serious roll over car crash in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
It was later reported that Woods was driving over 80mph, nearly twice the speed-limit, before he crashed. However, because no other vehicles were involved in the accident and Woods was not believed to be impaired, he was not administered a breathalyzer test at the time.
