Tiger Woods confirmed to play in major golf events after missing out on British Open Championship
Tiger Woods will return to early action after missing out on the 2024 British Open Championship at Royal Troon Golf Club.
After shooting an eight-over-par 79 in Thursday’s first round, Woods struggled again in the second round this morning, shooting a six-over-par 77 to finish 14-over for the win. After the second round of Friday, Woods talked to the media, missed the third consecutive category, and shared some of the next graphics.
He said that the next departure won the Hero World Challenge until December, but Woods confirmed that he was flying directly in Detroit this week to join his son Charlie this week. According to the universal golf course classification, Charlie Woods, the 763rd junior golfers in the world, begins on Monday to play an American junior amateur.
His first round is currently scheduled for 8:28 am on the Auckland Hills CC Northern course. Woods earned a place in 2024 in the United States, the youngest AM, having won the qualification event in Florida in the beginning of this year.
