A fan replaced CT’s injured caddie Mike Cowan

A golf fan replaced Tiger Woods‘ former caddie Mike ‘Fluff’ Cowan during the final round of the RBC Canadian Open.

Cowan, who is now the regular caddie of one-time PGA Tour winner CT Pan, went down injured on the 3rd hole at Hamilton Golf & Country Club.

The commentary box said that Cowan, who was Woods’ first professional caddie, fell down the hill on the par-4 3rd and therefore needed to be replaced for Pan.

With seemingly none of Pan’s team available to step in at the time, a fan took it upon himself to pull on the caddie bib and take on looping duty for Pan.

The PGA Tour pro shook hands with his new caddie on the 3rd green.

Things got off to a slightly rocky start for the new stand-in caddie as he picked up the bag and then dropped the putter head cover.

Former PGA Tour pro Robert Damron then jokingly grilled the caddie when saying ‘he might need to loosen the straps on the bib just a tad’.

It then came to light two holes later, that another man stepped in to caddie for Pan by the time he reached the 6th hole.

The pressure was somewhat off for Pan’s stand-in caddies as he was already well down the leaderboard.

However, every shot counts in the FedEx Cup, especially for Pan who currently looks on from outside the top 100 in the season-long race.
