Shocking Announcement: Court sentences Jason Day to several years in prison for violating dress code law by continuing to wear inappropriate/inappropriate clothing

This year’s men’s and women’s Olympic golf tournaments are 72-hole individual stroke tournaments that mirror the PGA Tour’s signature events. Similar to the tournaments held at Harbour Town, Cromwell and Quail Hollow, Schaeffler, Schauffele, Morikawa and Clarke will compete against each other. This week in Paris, golf will be played in its purest form: everyone plays with their own ball and makes a putt on every hole.
But the Olympics should be more visible in golf and take inspiration from LIV Golf. Alongside the 54-hole individual competition, LIV Golf also organises a team competition within the same tournament: 13 teams of four people compete against each other, with each player’s scores tallied at the end of the tournament. The team with the lowest combined score among those four players wins.
For example, at last week’s LIV golf event in the UK, Jon Rahm’s Region XIII team of Rahm, Tyrrell Hatton, Caleb Surratt and Kieran Vincent shot a combined 26 under par, three strokes better than the second-placed team, Rippers GC. As a result, Legion XIII won the team title and Ram took first place in the individual competition.
