Sad news, Greg Norman slammed the “disgusting” treatment of LIV stars, saying the PGA Tour commentary has all the details 👇
Tiger Woods’ 100th competitive round at the 2024 Masters golf tournament fell short of expectations. Despite his illustrious career and past success at Augusta, it wasn’t an easy match for the golf legend. With a 5-over-par 77, Woods finished the tournament at 16-over-par, making it one of his least impressive performances at the Masters.
That result, coupled with finishing last among the 60 players selected, added a somber note to an otherwise illustrious career at Augusta. Still, the 48-year-old Woods maintained an upbeat outlook for the Masters despite shooting 10-over 82 on Saturday and 5-over 77 on Sunday. He finished with a score of 16-over 304 at Augusta National Golf Club. His previous tournament best was 302 points at the Memorial in 2015, Reuters reported.
Of course, that wasn’t in the books, but the five-time Masters champion and 15-time major winner was able to put it all into perspective at Augusta. Two years ago, Woods returned to competitive golf 14 months after nearly losing his right leg in a car accident.
