Sad news: Rory McIlroy in tears after explosive revelation in response to CBS’s Amanda Balionis.


Rory McIlroy and CBS sports reporter Amanda Balionis were spotted kissing on Sunday after the golfers met after the Canadian Open, but rumors are swirling about the nature of their relationship. McIlroy, who filed for divorce from wife Erica Stoll in May after seven years of marriage, was seen embracing Ballinore on the set at Hamilton Golf and Country Club in Ontario, according to images published by TMZ on Monday.


The 35-year-old Northern Irishman finished the tournament in fourth place at 13 under par, three strokes behind winner Robert McIntyre, who finished at 16 under par. While Sunday was business as usual for McIlroy and Balionis, they found themselves at the center of a romantic uproar following the revelation of the PGA Tour star’s divorce.



The Daily Mail reported on May 22 that McIlroy and Balionis were “talking about a relationship,” but days later, Us Weekly shut down the relationship rumors, confirming that they were “only in a professional relationship.”


Balionis married former North Carolina defensive end Brynn Renner in 2022. After being seen without a wedding ring, she caused madness in a social network in February.


Last month, Makira submitted a divorce document in Florida, and the statement said the union was “irreparable.”


He and the stall share one daughter, 3 -year -old Poppi. The couple also has a prenuptial agreement.


News of McIlroy’s divorce came two days before the start of the first round of the PGA Championship. His camp released a statement saying McIlroy would “have no further comment” and “emphasized Rory’s desire to move through this difficult time as respectfully and amicably as possible.”


At the pre-tournament press conference, the host asked the media to refrain from asking questions about McIlroy’s personal life.


Asked how he was feeling personally, McIlroy replied, “I’m ready to play this week.”
