Man charged following golfer Doey Choi’s tragic death in car crash

A 31-year-old man has been charged following a golfer’s death 

Doey Choi and her boyfriend William Brown died last month 

The man has been charged with dangerous driving 

A 31-year-old man has been charged following a horrific car crash that killed golfer Doey Choi and her boyfriend William Brown last month.

Choi, 24, was sat on a motorbike behind Brown, 26, when it collided with a car at the intersection of the Hume Highway and Worth Street in Greenacre, NSW, roughly 20km west of Sydney‘s CBD just before 8pm on May 28.

The pair died at the scene while the driver of the car, a 25-year-old man, was rushed to hospital. He remains in a critical condition.

‘Officers from the Crash Investigation Unit examined the crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident,’ the police said in a statement on Sunday.

‘About 4.30pm yesterday, a 31-year-old man was arrested at Bankstown Police Station.
