Jay Green will be on the bag for Jason Gore at a Champions Tour event

Jay Green, the caddie for the late golfer Grayson Murray, was back on the bag this week in a way for him to ‘return to normalcy’.

Green will be on the bag for Jason Gore, the tour’s Executive Vice President and Chief Player Officer who is making his upcoming PGA Champions Tour debut.

The two met at the memorial service at Muirfield Village for Murray where Gore asked Green if he wanted to caddie for him.

Green said yes and told him, ‘That’s exactly what I needed.’

When the tour moved to Dublin, Ohio for this week’s Memorial Tournament, nearly the whole field gathered near the course’s first tee alongside event founder Jack Nicklaus, his wife Barbara, caddies and officials.
