I lost a lot of sleep before this interview,” Balionis said. Balionis joined the PGA Tour in 2011 before joining CBS in 2017.
Elsewhere in his chat with Links, Balionis shared the most memorable moment of his broadcasting career so far. “A few come to mind,” she says. — Dustin Johnson interviewed after winning the 2020 Masters, when he got vulnerable with us. The president of the trophy presentation after PHIL MICKELSON won the PGA 2021 championship was incredible. Understand historical elements, and witnesses a crowd that exceeds that 72nd green. That’s an image I never forget. “”

In 2017, Amanda Varilionis moved to CBS and interviewed Robert McKin Tire in Scotland during the Canada opening in June 2024.

From historic moments to heartbreaking events and every emotion imaginable in between. I love this game. I love working in sports. “Competing at the highest level requires and produces constant examples of inspiration, drama, unbridled joy, resilience, growth and teamwork,” Balionis wrote.

His post included a roundup of moments from the season, including Rory McIlroy’s win at the Wells Fargo Championship in May 2024 and unfounded rumors about a romance between the PGA Tour star and his wife, Erica Stoll. “I’m honored to be part of the incredible team that brings these moments and stories to life every weekend,” Balionis said. “If we leave you with a new favorite player or a memorable moment to share with your loved ones, then we’ve done our job. Until next season, see you on the NFL sidelines!”
