BREAKING: Jason Day and five other top golf stars sanctioned by Masters officials for inappropriate dress code
Jason Day defends his “fishing waders” after being ordered to change for violating Augusta’s strict protocols
The Australian pointed out that another golf legend was also wearing fashionable clothing.
Jason Day said he was told by Augusta National officials to change for the second round of the Masters.
The Australian golfer finished day three tied for 45th at 8 over par, and his form has generated more buzz than the golf at this year’s tournament. Day, who was previously sponsored by Nike, signed with Malbon earlier this year and wore a sleeveless top with “No. 1” emblazoned on it on the opening day of the Augusta 313 Malbon Golf Championship.
