16 Liv golf players led by the current Champion Brooks Come will participate in the PGA championship in Barhara in Louisville in Kentok. Koepka, captain Smash GC, won his fifth major in career and the third title of PGA champion last year in Oak Hill. On Sunday, he became the first golf player to win four individual golf tournaments in his career with his two -time victory in Singapore. The PGA Championship announced the field list on Tuesday. Gooch is the reigning LIV Golf individual champion with three wins this season. In 2023, Niemann is currently the points leader after winning two of the first seven tournaments this season. He also won the Australian Open during the offseason.
Burmester won his first LIV golf title in Miami last month and has won twice in the offseason in South Africa. Hatton finished in the top 15 at last year’s PGA Championship and also qualified for last year’s Ryder Cup.
Ogletree, who this year earned a spot in the LIV Golf League as the top player in all 10 International Series events in 2023, qualified through his ranking on the International Federation list. Puig has two wins, five other top-10s and three other top-15s in his last 10 non-LIV starts worldwide. Like Niemann and Burmester, Puig won the open qualifiers and will compete in the open championship at Royal Troon in July. Melonk was named the 2023 DP World Tour Player of the Year during his three-time winning season and was awarded the 2023 Seve Ballesteros Award.
Herbert won last year’s ISPS Handa Championship and Reed, the 2018 Masters champion, has been one of LIV Golf’s most consistent players through his first two seasons. Reed has made 41 consecutive starts in major tournaments, the longest consecutive start streak by any LIV golfer.
The 16 total matches the number of LIV golfers who played in last year’s PGA Championship and is three more than the number who played in last month’s Masters. Ten of LIV Golf’s 13 teams will compete in Valhalla.
